Linkedin calls itself the "world's largest professional network" and offers a way to stay in touch with colleagues and prospective employers.

StumbleUpon uses ratings to form collaborative opinions on websites. When a user "stumbles," he will see only pages which friends and like-minded stumblers have recommended. On the website, users can download the stumble icon, which, when clicked, allows users to rate websites and to search. Users also compile a profile of interests to guide the search.
